Worlds Apart But Not Strangers: Holocaust Education and Indian Education for All

Worlds Apart But Not Strangers: Holocaust Education and Indian Education for All is a one-of-a-kind seminar held for the fifth consecutive year in on the University of Montana campus in beautiful Missoula, Montana. Montana has a legislative mandate that schools infuse Indian Education for All (IEFA) into its curriculum. We would like to support teachers across the country in accomplishing this goal. This inquiry-based seminar supports teachers in making connections between studies of the Nazi Holocaust and IEFA, as well as making connections between past and present. Supported by the Memorial Library of NYC (thememoriallibrary.org) and the Montana Writing Project, we also partner with Har Shalom Synagogue in Missoula.
