Writing Teachers Write reading at Expressions Gallery on Sunday, February 14, from 3:00–4:30:
We are having a LOVEFEST:
“Love heals. Heals and liberates. I use the word love, not meaning sentimentality, but a condition so strong that it may be that which holds the stars in their heavenly positions and that which causes the blood to flow orderly in our veins.”
Maya Angelou – Mom & Me & Mom
Join Teacher Consultants Judy Bebelaar and Marty Williams on Valentine’s Day 2016 as we celebrate LOVE, love as Maya Angelou expresses it in the above quote. We will have a continuous Open Mic from 3:00 until 4:30 of teachers and writers reading love poems they have written (the good, the passionate, the broken-hearted) or their favorites by other authors. We will read one at a time until the end of our time at 4:30, so feel free to bring a few to share. Promised snacks: bubbly water, wine (no red wine), chocolate and things in the shape of hearts. Feel free to bring something to add to the mix.
